Co-Editor in Chief
Hi, my name is Pratik Doshi and I am a Health Promotion Disease Prevention major and a Social Entrepreneurship minor.
I wish to become a doctor in the future and help the underserved communities. Fun fact about me is that I have played classical guitar for 5 years!
Hi! I'm Natasha Natarajan and I am currently a Senior studying human biology with a pre-med track.
I've always been attracted to the idea of art and medicine in harmony and I think The Healing Process beautifully captures that. Fun fact: in eighth grade, I memorized 254 digits of Pi.
Hey there! My name's Jessica and I'm a Senior studying Human Bio. This year I am the Marketing Editor and my main job is to circulate the magazine and design promotional items for the club.
I love to play the piano, I love science, and I believe that art and science is intrinsically connected and would love to spread that notion around through outreach.
Hi! My name is Kelsi Yu and I am a sophomore in Biological Sciences. I believe that healing involves both the physical and mental wellbeing. These aspects could not be expressed without abstract representation and nonlinear thinking. In my spare time, I love writing short stories, eating good food, and watching horror movies. Fun fact: I have never eaten a hamburger! And no, I'm not vegetarian.
My name is Yasmin.
I am majoring in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. I enjoy drawing, painting, and playing electric guitar.
Hi! I’m Rachel, and I’m a Neuroscience major with minors in Ceramics and Health Care Studies. I’m a pre-med and aspiring surgeon. The day I operate on a patient’s brain as he/she is playing the violin will be the day I’ll know I’ve made it. The Healing Process beautifully displays the artistic side of medicine. It brings together science and emotion to inspire a love for humanity in our community, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
Hello! My name is Mary and I am a junior majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Healthcare Studies. I love pastel-colored items, small animals, honey green tea, watermelons, video games and prop-making. Since medicine and art are both lifelong passions of mine, I am so glad to be involved with design and layout of The Healing Process! Healing, to me, is more than changing biochemical pathways but also the bettering of one's spirit and I think The Healing Process encapsulates this idea wonderfully.
My name is Colin Malaska and I am currently a senior studying neuroscience and pre-medicine. Having been an athlete and musician my whole life, I have always had a passion for the humanistic approach to medicine through art and active expression.
Hey there! I’m Megha, and I am a sophomore studying Neuroscience and Health and Humanity. I love literature, tea, and unlikely combinations of things, (think breakfast at weird hours or the book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies). That last bit also explains why I love what The Healing Process does in bridging art and science, and how both contribute to the way humans overcome physical, mental, and emotional obstacles in order to connect with one another. Everyone has a story to tell, and I can’t wait to help share that!
